AEV DIRECTOR

LaParsha is AEV’s Executive Director, full time Mom and LaLa. This will be her 16th year serving on the AEV Board, and her 13th year as AEV Executive Director. La Parsha served on the Sun Country Board as the Amarillo Rep for 4 years, from 2015-2019. She and Mike have 4 children: Jonathan and wife, Shann, J’Rhea and husband, Josh, Josalynn and husband, Tim, & Jacob. They have 3 grand children: Caleb, Levi and Liam. La Parsha’s AEV philosophy: Anyone who knows me, understands I have a real heart for children. I believe God has placed me at AEV to touch hearts, mold, build character, integrity and leadership in athletes and coaches, love athletes, allow athletes to pursue their career and to simply help each family/athlete to be the best they can be, in preparing them for their future in the real world. AEV provides a stable and safe environment to work hard for both the athletes and my coaches. I LOVE MY JOB!

JESICA GRIMES
AEV Program Director

Jesica Grimes has joined our AEV Board this past year. She is married to Corbie Grimes. They have been married for 6 years. She is the mother of Bella Bohannon, who is currently coaching with AEV. Jesica has been a volleyball mom for 9 plus years. Jesica is a License Professional Counselor. She has been a counselor for over 10 years. She is a Crime Victims Counselor for Texas Department of Public Safety. Corbie is also a counselor for Jennings Counseling. We are very blessed to add Jesica to our Board. She has worked hours on prepping teams with jerseys and coaches with equipment. You will usually see Jesica at clinics, tryouts, and various practices. We appreciate your time Jesica, and so very happy to have you a part of the other side of club volleyball.​

Caitlin Doyle

Caitlin played volleyball for Tascosa High School from 2002-2006. She played collegiate volleyball at ENMU in Portales, NM from 2006-2009 earning All-conference honors as Libero. Caitlin holds the record at ENMU for most digs in a season as well as in a career. After graduation, Caitlin served as the WT graduate assistant for volleyball from 2011-2013. She has coached club for almost a decade including clubs in Amarillo, San Antonio and Oklahoma City. I’m excited to start my 4th year of coaching for AEV!

KATIE KLAEHN
AEV Executive Board President

Katie is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Private Practice. She & husband Daniel have three daughters-Haleigh, Micaiah & Londyn. Her AEV philosophy: to pass on the knowledge regarding the fundamentals of the game while also developing strong young ladies with character & leadership skills. There is a desire to always assure AEV is a club of integrity, quality teaching, and providing a positive piece to a parent’s village of developing their young child/athlete. Katie has served as the AEV Board President for the past 10 years.

STACEY JOHNSON
AEV EXECUTIVE BOARD VICE PRESIDENT

Stacey is the Soncy Branch Manager/Vice President for Amarillo National Bank. He and his wife Angela have two children, Shann and Joshua.  Stacey has served on the board for the past 18 years.  His AEV philosophy is: To help ensure any child that has the desire to learn and advance their volleyball skills has the opportunity to play for a strong, stable, financially sound and long-standing non-profit organization like AEV.

MIKE WISE
AEV EXECUTIVE BOARD TREASURER

Mike is a Senior Vice President at Golden Spread Electric Cooperative. He and his wife, LaParsha, have 4 children-Jonathan, J’Rhea, Josalynn and Jacob. Both of their girls have been involved in club ball since 2000, either playing as athletes or still currently, as coaches. Mike’s AEV philosphy: It’s all about the kids, there is a reason for everything we do monetarily, to be able to provide the most stable club available for these kids. Mike has been the AEV Executive Board Treasurer for the past 15 years.

SHARON BURRIS
AEV EXECUTIVE BOARD SECRETARY

Sharon has been part of the AEV Family for 8 years and on the Board for 7 years, serving as Secretary. Sharon has been married to husband, Cash for 24 years they have one daughter-Ashton,  a junior in the Nursing program West Texas A&M University. Sharon is the Vice-President of the Amarillo Grain Exchange, Inc. Sharon’s AEV philosophy: AEV not only provides a great club experience for players and families but it is built on a strong foundation of people that believe in the Golden Rule, keeping our promises, demanding the best in people and giving  our best as well.

​SHAYNNA GOLDSTON
MEMBER AT LARGE/BORGER REPRESENTATIVE

Shaynna was a 3 year letterman for Dumas High School under Coach Jack Wilson. State Semifinalist in 1994, All-Tournament Selection 3 times in 1995, All-District First Team in 1995. In college, she was a 2 year letterman for McMurry University under Coach Cammie Petree. ASC Conference Champions in 1997 first time in school history. Perfect conference game record of 36-0 in 1997. All-Conference Honorable Mention in 1997. Academic All-Conference in 1997. She played for the Amarillo JO’s club volleyball and AAU club basketball. Shaynna is married to Shad Goldston and they have 2 children, Grace and George. Shaynna is a stay at home mom. Shaynna is going on her 13th year to coach, 10th for AEV. Shaynna has served on the AEV Executive Board for the past 4 years. Shaynna’s AEV philosophy: To develop and build life skills through the team sport arena and to promote young ladies into successful adults.

lisa loan
AEV EXECUTIVE BOARD member

Lisa Loan joined the AEV board in 2022.  She has two children Adi and Brock.  Adi was a former AEV player when the club was getting started many years ago.  Lisa recently retired from the Amarillo Independent School District after 35 years of serving as a teacher, coach and administrator.  She enjoys watching volleyball at all levels and believes anyone who wants to play the game, should be able to no matter their level of play.  She wants the AEV players to feel supported, learn to be fundamentally sound players, the value of team work, but most of all have fun!
